About

Founder-led. Outdoor only.

Sharp Line Growth was founded by an operator who scaled one of the most recognized brands in the custom knife market. The agency works exclusively with outdoor companies, run by people who live in the industry every day.

Our Story

Built from the inside of the outdoor industry, not from the outside looking in.

Sam Santa Rita spent years in the military before transitioning to the private sector, where he eventually became COO of Rick Hinderer Knives, one of the most recognized brands in the custom and production knife market. During his time there, he helped scale the company through its strongest growth years: sharpening positioning, building brand identity, and driving growth that compounded year over year.

Along the way, other brand owners started reaching out. They had seen what was possible and wanted help doing the same thing for their own companies. What started as sharing strategies and offering advice turned into something bigger. The pattern was clear: great products were getting marketed badly, and the customers who should already own them never heard the right story. That gap became Sharp Line Growth.

The agency works exclusively with outdoor brands: hunting, fishing, shooting, knives, and gear. Ammunition companies, outfitters, turkey hunters, gun brands. The full spectrum of the industry. Not because it's a niche strategy, but because it's where the team lives.

Outside the work, Sam is a deer hunter and a shooter, and he tells outdoor stories because he can't help it. The brands he takes on are the brands he believes in. The rest get passed.

02
Our Approach

A brand worth building is a brand that sells.

Sharp Line Growth doesn't chase vanity metrics. A brand worth building is a brand that sells. Sales done right build the brand at the same time. Beautiful content that doesn't convert is a failure. Exposure without revenue isn't growth.

The work combines creativity and data toward one goal: getting great products into more hands. That means understanding the outdoor customer, the seasons, the culture, and the difference between marketing that lands and marketing that gets ignored.
